Full Description:

Grimaldi’s Pizzeria, famously known for their award-winning hand-tossed, coal-fired brick oven pizzas are now using their Facebook fans to search for the best end zone dance. As part of the search, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria is offering a catered Big Game event to the best end zone dance, as voted by both the public and Grimaldi’s Pizzeria management. Second and third prize will also be awarded with gift cards for their award winning pizza.

Entry is only allowed via their Facebook site and video uploads will be how each dancer can feature their moves. Submission of videos (can be up to 1 min) via flip cam, cell phone, and video cameras, all will be allowed. Entry to the contest closes on January 30, 2011 11:59 p.m. MST. Facebook fan voting begins Jan 31, 2011 at 12 am MST, for the public to select the Top 5 contestants. Grimaldi’s Management Team will pick the winners from the Top 5 finalists selected by your votes by 5 p.m.on February 1st, 2011.

Grimaldi’s launched the event due to the overwhelming request from their facebook fans to offer more interaction via social marketing and more interactive promotions. With a fan base across the country and a brand that is quickly growing, Grimaldi’s chose an event that all the fans could identify with: football.

In the world of pizza, Grimaldi’s is an institution that has garnered more awards than any other pizzeria in the country with more celebrity sightings than most 5-star restaurants.  Using only the freshest ingredients, a “secret recipe” pizza sauce, handmade mozzarella cheese and dough, Grimaldi’s serves traditional pizza (as it began in Naples, Italy) in an upscale yet casual, family oriented pizzeria.

Designed and built by hand, the coal-fired oven at Grimaldi’s Pizzeria delivers a unique flavor and consistency that is just not possible from wood or gas ovens.  Weighing in at 25 tons and heated by 100 pounds of coal per day (cleanest burning fuel available and environmentally tested), the oven heats up to 1,200 degrees.  The intense heat of the oven evenly bakes the pies to create Grimaldi’s famous crispy and smoky thin crust that Zagat has voted best pizza year after year.
